I Am Sorry Too

"I am sorry," has got to be three of the hardest words in the English language to say, and actually mean. We can talk it out. We can pray about it. We can cry about it. We can get angry about it.We can harbor feelings and let 'em brew. We can wear our hearts on our sleeves, and hang our dirty laundry to the wind. Or we can suck it up, and practise what we preach, and truly let bygones be bygones. Forgive and forget. Truly put it in His hands and let Him deal with it if you Believe in Him. Or in one ear and out the other, and laugh it off if you don't. Or don't open the messages, or push delete if you do. You ultimately have control over You. You ultimately have to deal with the responsibilities of your actions. And I use the term "you" to apply to those who feel it includes them, not to anyone personally. Turn tail and hide if you feel you must, as some already have. But I personally think it's a crying shame that adults can't behave as adults, and just agree to disagree. I have learned scores off of so many people in this group. Some I have very differing opinions and beliefs from, but I glean from them nonetheless. They are still very talented individuals, whether I agree with them or not. Let us not forget why we're here to begin with. This is a scrapping newsgroup. And I for one treasure each and everyone of you, those that have left for their own personal reasons, and those that are considering leaving. I am sorry and heartbroken that we can't all be friends, and "love thy neighbor" and all that jazz. You know what I mean. Bottom line....Dave I don't want you to go, and Shelley I want you to come back. I don't know what happened where, nor do I care. I just think a lot of this is ridiculous. WE have literally got so much to be GRATEFUL for in our lives. And if you don't believe that, consider where a lot of our soldiers are right this very second. How many of them would like to be in your comfy chair, sitting at your computer discussing one of their favorite topics, or sharing their life stories with their friends? Life is too short. Now I'm stepping off my soapbox. I just had to give my 2 cents.

I don't think you could have said it better Jessie. I, too, miss Shelley et al and will surely miss Dave if he chooses to move on too.

A killfile can be effective. (And I don't even know what the group squabble is about.)
