I did SIX pages! New pics uploaded!

Well I scrapped away the blues yesterday and today. Finally got those Homecoming parade float pics scrapped, and I made some cards up in my card kit I received for my birthday. I didnt take pics of the cards, just the LO's. The last six in my webshots are the newest ones, under scrapbooking.

Thanks for looking!

WOW!!! Six pages, and they look great. I love the title and journaling mats you made for the LO's. Reminds me of an old treasure map. I remember when I was in HS and we did class floats every year. They don't do that anymore around here. None of the LSS around here have the equipment for lazer cuts. I'm sure I could go online and find someplace to order from if I just took the time to look. A wishblade would be wonderful, but it is not even in the running in our budget. Thanks for sharing. It was neat to see the pics when you shared them earlier and now to see what you did with them. Great job! Sandy

You did a really great job on these. They are so alive and vibrant. Great idea to let everyone know who won! I also like the fact that you journalled both in the boxes and under the pictures!

Oooo...great pages Linda! The colors really compliment the pictures. I haven't used any laser cutters. Did you like it? I remember when you showed us those Homecoming pictures. Congrats getting them scrapped so soon! :-) I finished a LO yesterday, but haven't scanned it. Need to do that...after the coffee kick-starts me. LOL

Your pages look great! I just love looking at other people's LO's. Isn't it a refreshing feeling when you get several LO's done? I went on a "Scrappin Spree" as my DH called it a couple of weeks ago and I felt like I had gotten so much accomplished. I don't think I will ever be caught up and waiting for pictures to get developed before I can scrap again. LOL. Is that even possible?

Hi Linda

As someone new to this group (and scrapbooking) can you please tell me what LO's stands for?

Many thanks

Thanks Sandy!. The float building has always been a tradition at our high school. The whole town turns out for the parade, and the kids really work hard all week. Its great fun! I dont know what laser cutting machine the LSS used...they had it set up at at the show, and you just tell them what you want, like color, font, size style, and it was on a computer screen if I remember right. I did ask the guy how much that system cost and he rolled his eyes at me, and said TOO much..about $3000!! I only paid $1.00 to have each one cut, and had several made up and even kept the negatives. LOL

Your pages are great Linda. The colors are wonderful, so vibrant. I really like the way you did the Survivor title and the journaling blocks. The hemp and the inked edges really set them off nicely.
