August Challenge done & uploaded

I guess better late than never...lol With everything I have had going on, I finally made myself sit down at my scrap desk and get busy. (I really wanted to do this challenge) I posted my 2 page 12x12 LO's on my webshots. I downloaded pictures off of the internet to use for my dream vacation LO. I also made some cards last night, had a lot of fun doing that. My card supply was getting low, so I am going to be working on getting it stocked up again! take a looky if ya wanna! :-)

Linda, My first thought was the old commercial "See the USA in a Chevrolet". I think a lot of us want the same type of vacation - not necessarily the same destinations........no time restraints, deadlines, and unlimited funds to just keep on going. the clouds added to the dream effect. I like that. Thanks for sharing, Sandy

What a dreamy page Linda. I really like the cloud paper and the way you did the title. It sounds like a great vacation, no timetable and traveling as the spirit moves you. I hope you get to take this vacation someday.

You're doing better than I am, Linda! I haven't even started mine yet! LOL I really like your LO, though. The cloud paper just adds to the dreaminess of your vacation. I hope that you get to take your vacation one day!

I must be doing something wrong. I don't see any dream vacation layouts on the link you provided.

Linda, you found some beautiful pictures for your LO. And I really like the cloud background. After seeing you LO I'm wishing I had had some of that to put my journalling on. Hope you get to see some of those destinations someday.

Thanks Linda! They look great! I saw the different albums and the RCS challenges folder said it was last edited on Dec 7 05 so I figured the layouts can't be in that one. I was looking at your other pages and I trying to figure out what the heck I was missing!

Again, they look great! I've been to Niagra Falls and that is just really beautiful and it's hard to imagine the power of all that water. The only other place I've been to on your list is NYC but I haven't really seen much there. The few times we went it was always just to a specific thing like a show or something.

I haven't travelled much in the US except the states round PA (NJ, NY, MD, DE, OH). I did go to FL for my senior trip in high school and I had to go to CA for trade show at my last job. My most memorable travels were when I was a foreign exchange student to Germany in high school. That was so much fun and an unforgettable experience! I'd love to go back again because I found out (after I got home wouldn't it figure!) that I have relatives there and in Poland and Ukraine. Right now I have to settle for just emailing them until I can afford to go there. With four kids, I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon!

Got to run and check on the lasagna. Have a great weekend everybody!

P.S. I was going to go to a crop tonight but my grandmother was taken to the hospital today for pneumonia so I'm going to go visit with her instead. One of these years I'll get back to scrapping hopefully!
