Having stress-leave from work has given me the time to be able to scrap... and I've just completed my August challenge double-spread. Unfortunately DH took the camera to work with him today so I'll have to wait an hour or so before I can take the pics, but I'll upload them to webshots just as soon as I can. (Unless of course we have to wait til the end of Aug before we upload?) Anyhow, this takes my LO's for the year to 31.... woohoo!! I've spent so much time drooling over my DREAM holiday, that I'm starting to twitch my nose like bewitched - it's not working!!! LOL.

You can post it as soon as you want to Cec. I'm glad that you were able to escape to dreamland while working on your layout ;-)
Wow Cec that is great. Can't wait to see it. I'm still thinking about what my dream vacation would be... maybe Australia! BTW do you know what a "rasher" is? As in "a rasher of bacon?" I'm not sure which country uses that term.
Lynne
I have a few dream destinations, I'm thinking I might do a few more LO's on this theme, there are so many beautiful places I'd love to visit.
As for rasher, we use that term here in Oz, a rasher is a slice of bacon. HTH.
Thanks M-C, the pics are in my webshots now, RCS Challenge album.
Cec, I'm tasting the Pina Coladas allready! You make me want to go too! Love your LO, it really captures the island feel :)) The Maldives sign looks awesome! You did a great job and so fast! TFS Yeah Maaaaan! ;))

Thanks Judy, I'm glad that someone else likes it as I do.... I had fun putting it together, and really like how it turned out :o)
Love it Cec! Love the island feel, and you did a great job on the palm tree. Can I go too? LOL
Great pages Cec. Makes me want to visit there too. Sandy beaches and drinks with little umbrellas, sounds like heaven to me.
Love the LO Cec! Does this dream vacation come with massages? Hmmm....I need to get motivated and work on this challange. (Oh wait, I still have
200 patches to put on ROTC uniform shirts.....)Thank you Cec. I had read 2 different definitions. One said one slice they other said 4 and looking at the recipe 4 slices per "rasher" seemed excessive to me, but I love bacon and I'd get use to it. hehe
Lynne
lol.... no probs Lynne :o)
Thanks Deb, and you can come too.... lol. I like the palm tree too, although, not too sure how realistic it is, you get the drift.
It sure does Cathy, you wouldn't have a care in the world!!
Oh Kenda, you'd have to get the whole package for sure ;o) Get crackin with your patches dear!!
I should have realized that it's a DREAM vacation so one would of course get everything! LOL I ironed all the long sleeved shirts today, 50 and pinned patches on one sleeve. Will get those sewn on Thursday. The patches for the other sleeve are due in on Thursday so I will be pinning and sewing another 100 patches before school starts in a week and a half. Though to be honest the longest part has been ironing all the sleeves so the patches can be put on straight.
Good Job Cec. Looks like this is just what you need for that stress leave. Enjoy the dreaming.
Oh my word Kenda! Your poor fingers!! Good Luck

On no Judy!! I used my little feather weight sewing machine. I actually carried all of them to work and did a few at a time as I had the time. I finished them yesterday. I actually ended up putting a total of 300 patches on 150 shirts. Yeah me!! Now that I'm on vacation I will TRY to get some time to scrap or at least be creative. (Yeah, like that's gonna happen. lol)
