Isn't it ironic?

Last week when my nephews were over, the little one was obsessed with castles and kings and queens, so I printed out a crown for him to color in, and we taped some strips of cardstock on it so he could wear it. Of course, I had to get a picture to scrap. I'm almost done with the page, and I'll post it soon, but I hadn't done the title yet. I wanted either sticker letters or rub on letters, and I went to Michaels but they didn't have anything that I liked, so I decided to get a calligraphy pen and try that for the first time.

And lo and behold, they have a brand new collection of Fairy Tale papers! There's spaces for the rub-ons and stickers, but they don't have those in yet. But, but . . . I'm almost done with the page! And I don't need a whole new pack of paper. Even though it's sooooo pretty. Yeah, that's it. It's maybe TOO pretty, for a boy's page. Yeah, that's the ticket. Not gonna buy it. I don't need it, right? I shouldn't redo the whole page, right? I'm not gonna anyway, because I really like what I've done.

Anyway, if you like fairy tale stuff, the new papers are really pretty. They're not like the Disney princess stuff, they're rich jewel tones and some sparkles and they're just gorgeous. I might buy some soon and not even use it for scrapbooking, just do a collage and frame it for myself. ;o)

LOL You had to talk yourself out of the paper, didn't you? But it's really pretty paper! My question I keep asking myself is, "What would I do with it?" But I'm sure I woudl find a use for it. LOL
