Jessie's card

I believe her Mom is very over whelmed with the Jessie having been moved closer. I believe that when she can she will notify those that she talks with and give them an update on her condition, then we'll in turn be updated.

As to your card. I'm sure she recieved it. I think that we can just send cards and have faith they will arrived. I am sure her Mom is also so overwhelmed with the cards and well wishes from other family and friends that it is unrealistic for us to expect an individual response for everything we send. Just have faith Yanya that it arrived and know that it has lifted Jessie's spirits to know that someone she has never met thought enough of her to send her a lovely handmade card. Your kindness did not go unnoticed.

Thanks Kenda and you are right. Right now Jessie's mom is in a very difficult place and she is overwhelmed with everything that has happened. At first she just did what had to be done, 24/7, week after week, month after month. I think that the reality of what has happened to her family has finaly sunk in and in addition to everything that still needs to be done, and the 2.5 hr drive to go see Jessie, she also suddenly has the complete care of a traumatized 5 year old whose whole world changed in the blink of an eye. Frankly, I don't expect acknowledgement of anything I send at this point, Jessie can't and her mom, just doesn't have the time or stamina right now. Believe me that she is very appreciative that Jessie has not been forgotten by her friends, and if you can continue to see your way to sending cards from time to time, please do.Like Kenda said, trust that they are a wonderful pick me up for everyone connected with Jessie. For now, I have no news to report as it is very difficult to catch Jessie's mom sitting at home and I don't want to call when Makenzie might be sleeping.

Hopefully from time to time, we'll find out and in the meantime, all we can do is continue to support the family with out thoughts, prayers and a card, from time to time.
