Just bought my first open punch

I went to Hobby Lobby this morning and bought my first open punch, a faceted star. I can see BUNCHES of uses for this and I can't wait to play with it!

Hobby Lobby has all punches and rubber stamps half price, as well as stickers and ink pads. I bought some of everything! LOL

Congratulations Rach! I love getting new toys.

May I ask what is an "open punch". I've probably have seen it, but never knew what it was called. A faceted star sounds interested. I'd like to see some of the uses for it.

An open punch is one where the pieces it punches more than one piece, or at least that's what I mean.

Not only do you have the punched star, but you can take the inside bits and make other things. Using this one, I made a reticulated fish. I will try to remember to take a pic and post. The little arrow head shape bits can be used for lots of different things like borders, when arranged in different ways.
