Yep I had 256 pages done for the first part of the year.. I was at the beach house.. losing a lot of weight (75 pounds now since last Oct. on the Atkins diet) and just feeling good. THEN.. lol.. my darn grown daughters started having all these problems.. I moved to this huge house and I'm still not done fixing it up.. call it stress..

The Kiya roo story.. this girl can't be 2. She's way smarter than us..lol. She got a 2 minute time out in the corner. Mike told her to do something or to stop doing something..and she turned around put her hands on her hips and said NO Pop Pop..... sooooo Grandma had to leave the room..lol... She got her 2 minutes.. I got the camera.. as soon as I came back in the room. She turned around and smiled at me.. BUT.. when she saw the camera she made a sad face like.. save meeeeeeeeeeee gramma then I snapped..and giggled and had to leave the room again.. It was so hard to say now Kiya you can't be telling us no when we tell you something.. with a straight face.

What a great story. Kids and be so cute even when they are being naughty. I don't know how many times I too had leave the room or bite the inside of my cheek to keep a straight face while giving my child a scolding. Or how about when the do something SO inappropriate and you don't want to laugh to encourage it, but it was SO darn funny the first time.

Kristie is the oldest one is the one who ran away at 15..she's the one who has 3 kids..age 24 and her husband Jay had died last Oct from cancer at the age of 28. I know you all remember that sad part of our life. This is my middle daughter Kelly's baby girl. Kelly is 22 and then Kaitlyn is 19. Kait has no kids and will be going to college soon. Kelly's little Kiya roo here is something else. I mean there are times I'm standing here trying to figure out how to outwit her..lol..she can talk very well and is potty training. She understands everything you say to her and then some.. its really scary. :) She just turned 2 in June and she's really short..so you don't expect what you get out of her. She's smarter than any of my kids ever were at that age. I don't know if I'm going to make it.. lol.. oh and she SMILES at you a lot even when she's being bad.. which makes grandma forget what it is she's supposed to be doing.

oh isn't that the truth. I was way more strict with my own kids but with grandbabies its just too hard to be too hard about it and to not laugh. Even my daughter said that by the time Kiya is a teen she all ready knows she's going to give her 3 times the trouble she ever gave me..and all I can do is say yep.. and laugh. I mean I don't let her leap off dressers or walk the back of the couch but the little things.. like telling my husband no with her hands on her hips.. was just too shocking to believe someone that short could be making such a point. She was just so determined in what she was saying. It was like she dared him to make a move.. it was all he could do not to run away laughing himself.

Michelle, I just had to smile hearing about your little Kiya roo. She sounds like my youngest grandchild. They are all so smart these days! I can never be stern with her and she knows it! My daughter says ,"You would have never let ME get away with what you let Ash do!!" LOL Aren't grandkids great?

Basic Grey papers are one of my favorites. What a great way to get inpsired to scrap!

I know what you mean about needing to be motivated. We were on vacation for three weeks in June and it took me until the end of July to get over my scrapping block. Now I'm on a roll!
