March, April challenge

Okay, so I am actually working on a challenge! LOL I decided that today I would have a ME day. (I am completely off work for another 2 weeks, light duty for 2 after that then we'll see. That's assuming that my request for a different ortho doc doesn't come through first) So I have been a busy girl, considering I had to go get DS#1 from school and make 5 appointments this morning. I have completed 10 pages, 8 are 12x12's and 2 are 8x8's. I will get them scanned in the morning and post then. In the mean time I'm going back to scrapping. I am hoping to get all my page kits I put together used up today and make up more tomorrow. I am, as my dear Mom used to say, making hay while the sun shines. I am scrapping at my desk with my leg propped up on a spare rolling chair we have. I am getting used to it and am making progress.

Oh, and I painted the inside and outside of a Bobunny chipboard binder, along with 7 chipboard pages. I am working on a little album for DH for our anniversary.

4 more pages done!!! Yeah!!! I'm almost 1/2 way to goal! Perhaps I will actually complete it. heehee, or exceed it, that would be most excellent. These pages were of my boys at Easter, in 1993! They were soooo cute, and cuddly, *deep sigh* I sure miss that age.

Go Kenda Go! Go Kenda Go! :-) At least you're able to actually sit and scrap now. YAY! I can't wait to see what the LO's look like. I'm still working on my page kits....yikes!

LOL I am able to do a little more each day. I just have to remember to prop the leg up, but that's getting easier. I have figured out how to prop it still be able to roll around and get the necessary supplies I need. LOL DS#1 asked me last night what in the world I was doing. "I'm taking care of my knee, why aren't you in the den with YOUR leg proped up? Look how swelled the knee it" He hung his head and went to put it up and ice it.

Okay, in an effort to really meet this challenge I have put together more page kits today. Enough for 28 pages!!! Now, if I get these done I will have exceeded my goal. I am very excited! Right now I am in the process of scanning the pages I've already completed. I am very pleased to be using up the supplies that I have. I decided that I would not purchase anything for these pages with the exception of adhesive. All these pages/kits and I haven't even put a dent in my paper!!! I think I should be ashamed but oddly I'm not!! LOL Most of the pages are very simple. I decided that I really want to get the pictures out of the boxes and into albums. In order to do that they have to get put on LO's. I have even been journallying in my own handwritting and not worrying about doing computer journalling. (I really dislike my handwritting!) When I am caught up then then I will take the time to do elebrate pages, but now is not the time.
