mixed up day!

Good day all! This has been a frustrating,heartbreaking, joyous, awesome day!!! It all started Saturday when hubby found out that Elton John was comming to Edmonton for a concert-he LOVES Elton! He came here last year but I tried and tried to get tickets but to no avail! So Gary asked me if I would try Monday morning to see if I could get tickets. He said that if we got tickets we would fly there go to the concert stay for night then fly home. It will cost a feww hundred in total and will be our anniversary gift! So I said I'd try, it was VERY doubtful-I mean I couldn't get through here and Edmonton has at least 4x the people. Ticekets went on sale at 10 I called and called and finally at 10:40 I got into the atomated system. I got 2 tickets in section 216, gave all my id and credit card info when I was about to give the 3 digit security # on the back I sneezed and disconnected the phone! I was SO upset/hubby would be so dissapointed but wait maybe the tickets would still be tied up it the system and I could get them! Called right away but couldn't get through and I had to go pick Catherine up from preschool. I was crying and just sick over the thought of letting down Gary. When I got home from getting Catherine I started calling again and after about 20 minutes got through only to find out that those tickets were put back in the system and were gone! The only tickets left were behind the stage area! I was devistated and desperate so I played my last hope card and asked about disabled seating. They had some left and the seats are better than the one's that I lost! I'm very excited to tell Gary when he gets home-he NEVER thought I'd get tickets. The concert isn't until September but WE'RE GOING TO ELTON JOHN!!! so happy I ordered pizza for supper because I can't think to cook! Barb:o) I'm doing the happy dance!
