My acrylic scrapbook is finished!

Yesterday I battled Black Friday at my LSS and picked up the crop-a- dile kit for only 20 bucks along with some other goodies! I had never used eyelets before but I bet I do now :) And with that excitement out of the way...I was able to finish my acrylic book for my Mom. This was my first but I am very proud of myself. I really like how it turned out. The links to the pages are below.

Very nice Crystal! Have fun figuring out your Crop-a-dile. I'm still experimenting myself.

Thanks Lynne! So far I am really enjoying my crop-a-dile. Had a little trouble at first but it is coming in really handy. Good luck playing with yours :)

Crystal, Your scrapbook is very nice. I had never seen one like this before. The crop-a-dile is one of my favorite tools. Sandy

That's neat Cyrstal, I've never seen an acrylic sb before. Is it heavy? Hilda

Thanks Shannon. I got the acrylic sheets at City Mill here in Honolulu but you can get them at Lowes or Home Depot. I bought a large sheet and had them cut it for me. I kept the scraps so I could practice.

Thanks, Hilda. No it is not heavy at all. And it is durable. They are so much fun to make but can be a little time consuming.

Great acrylic book Crystal. I'm sure your mom will love it. What kind of adhesive did you use and does is show through on the other side?

Thanks Cathy! I used sticky tape and glue dots. That was the hardest part of the book. You had to make the pages with the back page in mind and arrange things so tape and ribbon ends and things like that wouldn't show through. I had to redo a few pages because you could see tape through the other side. It was time consuming but a lot of fun and it really gets your creative juices flowing.
