I thought of this and made it. It is my first shaker box, well probably second if you count the salt shaker shaker box I made for my son's science project last year. No particular reason, just made it. Not the best but I tried!

No dumb questions here. Shaker boxes have clear plastic on the front and are raised up by usually foam pieces and have beads, confetti, etc., or even memoribillia in them. The ones I have in my albums are have sand and shells that I brought back from my trip to Maui. Shaker boxes also make great tags for gifts.
