need input on title page

Ok guys & gals, now that I have the journaling figured out for this ministry memory album, I need your input on the title page. I've uploaded it to my photo website below. It's the only page under Ministry Memory Album. Could you please take a look at it and give me input? I want this scrapbook to be perfect. :-) The printed vellum is a sky-type scene with the sun shining through the clouds, blue sky at the top, and rose pinks and purples between the blue sky and the bottom of the page. I didn't show the full 12 x 12 page in the picture, because I just couldn't get it to scan in. (My brain's not awake enough yet to stitch..sorry.) Basically, what you see in the pic is the page. There's just the title.

Since the vellum didn't adhere real well, I can take this apart and redo it. I'm not real happy with it, but don't know what to change. I know I want to use this printed vellum, and I want the title wording to stay the same, except change Mom & Dad to their names. Anything other than that, I'm open to any and all suggestions! I just keep looking at this title page and thinking it's dull.

That is so pretty and perfect!!! I love the background.

Nice layout...I don't know if its just the scan, but it looks like you can see the outline of where you cut around the title...maybe when you redo it print it on some translucent vellum and cut it in a square not curvy and it will hide most of that. If your background paper is white you will still be able to read it I think. Just a thought. But it looks very nice, the vellum is really cool.

I think it looks wonderful Deb! I do think that if you left the words "Mom & Dad" on your title page, that would be ok as it is going to be created by you and they are your mom & dad. If you did leave that in I would put your name on it somewhere.

I think it beautiful.

No, it's not the scan. (Don't ask me what I was thinking when I cut that title out curvy...it was late at night night! LOL) I thought about stamping the title, but I really like that font better.
