Nervous and excited

I'm going to have scrapnight in my craft room tonight. Last month the room wasn't finished and I had an excuse for things not looking right. This month though it's done! I've been trying to sort and put away a lifetime of crafts and books and the place looks like a bomb went off in it. It's liberating doing the sorting getting rid of a few things. Finding cool things I haven't seen in years. I only have about 3 more days to pull it together. I can do it. I can do it. Hummmm sounds like I should take a picture and make a "goal" page. :)

Hi Lynne,

Yes, please take a picture of the new and improved room. Even if it is to show it to us for some "inspiration"

Love, Kate

Goals page, that sounds like a good idea! I'll bet you'll get the room pulled together in time. I have been cleaning out and sorting. Bad thing is I haven't found anything to get rid of! LOL Guess I don't want to part with all my treasures! Have fun putting everythign in its place and uncovering all those "hidden" treasures....

Way to go Lynne! Be sure to show us the end results. I'm always looking for ideas for my future 'perfect' craft room. (Yep, I live in a dream world.) LOL

Just a funny to share with all of those get-rid-of-clutter-types. Several months ago, MIL gave me this velveeta keeper thingy, plastic opaque top, blue plastic bottom, was just right for a block of velveeta. When DH & I moved in October, I sorted as I unpacked. I got rid of several things out of the kitchen, for the basic fact that I wasn't using those gadgets and what-nots. Anyways, DH brought home some velveeta last night for cheesy-tots. I asked DH to go searching for my velveeta keeper under the sink. ("If it's anywhere, it's under there.") He couldn't find it! LOL Apparently in my bye-bye-clutter phase during unpacking, I decided I didn't need that velveeta gizmo!

I hope you have lots of fun in your new room tonight. After we moved into our house and I found all my scrapbooking things, I put things in order but I can't say that I got rid of anything.

I think you should make a goal page. I would love to see the pictures of your room.

Have fun at your scrapnight. Can't wait to see pictures of your new room. The goal page sounds like a great idea.

Sounds like we are all in "clean-up" mood. I got up at 5:30 am one morning last week and cleaned out and rearranged all my scrapping stuff. Didn't throw much away though!

The goal page sounds like a good idea. I hate throwing things away you just never know when you might need that thing that you haven't used in years. For crying out loud my DH is also yelling out me to get rid of my teddy bears. I still have my teddy bears from when I was little. Their not hurting anything their in totes in the attic (out of sight out of mind). LOL! As I type he is standing here saying "tell them how many totes". So ok we have 2 totes, no really we have about 10 totes filled with bears from when I was little. LOL! I hate to throw anything away. Chrissy
