JoAnns and Michaels

Are the JaAnn ads different in the different areas? I've never seen a sizzix listed in theiir ad. Sandy

Yes they are The JoAnnes in St. Petersburg near Tyrone mall has an huge scrapbooking section. The Joannes in North Little Rock has a few little things, not even worth a trip. In fact I tried getting the Michaels here to accept a JoAnne's coupon and they looked at me as if I was nuts! I guess here they don't consider each other competitors!

I may have to put them on my vacation list. I have three Jo-Ann's within a days drive from me and none of them have more than two short sections on scraping and stamping together. I'm waiting for the Michaels to move. The one in Evansville is moving to the old Super-K-Mart building and expanding their store. I should have added an extra day to my trip to Nashville this month. You may want to keep an eye on this months flyers and advertisements. March is National Craft Month which equals some good sales.

Yahoo, they finally acknowledged us Flasses and Floozies for a whole month. I frequent both. A Michaels just opened here in Queens in Woodside but Parking is a pain. So I'll just go to the two in my hometown of huntington.

Now if it were in May instead of March (National Craft Month), I'd have an excuse to give a want list for my B'Day and coupons to boot.

Our joanns doesn't have sizzix. I called and checked today. I also looked on line at the joanns sale flyer to print off to take to my michaels but I didn't see the sizzix on sale there. Where they on sale at your store this week.

The Michael's where I live won't price match for percent off sales, they will only match advertised prices. I tried this week because the selection of sizzix dies at JoAnn's left much to be desired and Michael's had the dies that I wanted. Same with AC Moore, they wouldn't match JoAnn's 50% off either. Oh well, I still got 10 new punches at JoAnn's because they were 50% off as well. ;o)
