New hair & I got kidnapped!

I got my hair cut Sunday evening, much to DH's shock and surprise since I hadn't even told him I was thinking of cutting it. DD went into drama-queen mode. LOL DS hugged me and said he liked my hair. DD kept asking why I cut it, what did I do with her mommy, etc. I simply told her that just because I cut my hair, didn't mean I had changed any, I was still her mommy. Of course, that got DH's attention who came in and said "Mommy's right" and gave me a hug. hehehehe I'll have to get DH take a picture this evening of my new hair. I feel so much better now!

But yesterday Kenda came and kidnapped me! She called, made sure I was child and hubby free, wasn't sick, had my shoes on, and told me to have my purse ready when she got here. LOL We had a great time! We went to a fairly new LSS here, or at least one we haven't been to yet called Scrapping Memories. I was really pleased with it. A nice selection, lots of new stuff, and very well organized. I'm so glad we were the only customers because we really did make all kinds of commotion over new things. LOL "Oh look!!!! Transparncy ribbon!!!!" "OOooooo!!! I've never seen that before!!" ROFL We were good girls though, and just did a little buying. :-) I found a couple sheets of gray/white rocket themed paper to use for DH's BotCon LOs. I also found the video game rub ons. I also picked up a "Pull-Ez" ribbon storage tote. It's on the makers homepage at

(It's the black/clear tote with all the ribbon sticking out.) I picked up a red/clear one, since I want my scraparea (and future 'barn' out back) done in bright colors. I'm excited about all the photo boxes I can use for photos now! LOL Thank you Kenda for a day out, even if I did get wet. :-)

I can't wait to see the new hair do. How nice of Kenda to kidnap you and take you shopping. That ribbon holder looks like it holds a lot of ribbon. How much was it?

I can't wait to see your new hair style. Its funny how kids react to those types of things! I received the ribbon holder from Sandy and I can't wait to put some of my ribbon in it. Oohh those game rubons sound interesting, I'll have to be on the lookout for them.

Yes, it was very sweet of Kenda to kidnap me. I like that kind of kidnapping! LOL I filled up my ribbon holder yesterday. hehehe I was able to get all my ribbons in there, off the spools, and even scrap pieces. I still have lots and lots of holes available in my ribbon purse so I think that means I need more ribbon. LOL It was $25.

I was able to get most of my spools and scraps in there. I have a few spools of wired ribbon and I didn't put those in there, along with a full spool of grosgrain which has like 25 yards on it (LOL). I also have some scraps of wide and/or wired ribbon/fibers that I didn't put in there. I still have lots of holes available in my ribbon purse, so I really think that means I need more ribbon. LOL

I think your new haircut makes you look younger, and I'll bet you just love the convenience of shorter hair! I am thinking of going shorter too. I really like it Deb! :-) Linda

Thanks Linda. I really like it. I found out yesterday that it will go towards wavy when I use spray gel and blow dry it.
