DD's new SM

DD's boyfriend's ex-wife has gifted DD most magnificently. She told DD that she could have her sewing machine, but it didn't work. So, DD picked it up and brought it straight to me. After discovering that the thing has got to weigh more than fifty pounds, I got the top off (after oiling the latches and scrubbing a bit) to discover a Morse 4300 Fotomatic. Instant lust!

I looked the thing over, cleaned out a bit of lint, added a few drops of oil, and gave it a spin. It was sewing backwards. I fiddled about until I figured out how to release the reverse button, and the machine ran just perfectly. No idea why the ex thought it didn't work. I put it through the paces while sorting out a few functions, and it goes very well.

As a reward for lickety split sorting out I got much baby sugar whilst DD made incense and started some cyprian powder with her father.

"DD's boyfriend's ex-wife" ? I made it through that one easily. Our DD has a wife-in-law. As to smelling like apple juice, corn pops and pear bits, I think my favorite was reeking of mashed banana and melted peppermint stick. Beats perfume any day, don't you think? Baby sugar is good stuff in every flavor. Five hundred points and an atta girl star for resolving the Morse 4300 Fotomatic. What the heck is that? Polly

DD's is a different year. The color scheme is different, and the previous owner did not put the spiffy measureing sticker or decal down on the presser plate.

early to mid '60s, manufactured by Toyota for Morse, mechanical, all metal throughout, very simple threading, generally classed as semi-industrial.

DD's current has two ex-wives and three other kids between them. As soon as she came up pregnant the fella proposed, so that explains that. I told her if she accepted the proposal I would kick her butt from here to next Sunday. Fortunately she had no intention of doing so. I also gave her a huge lecture about guys who claim they are allergic to latex, especially when the doctors are having a hard time setting you up with birth control that does not give you constant morning sickness. He is nice enough half the time, the other half the time he is amiably drunk. She is trying to sort out how to move out of there without moving in with me. She foolishly allowed a couple of the bills to be in her name. I've told her to check out al-anon, repeatedly, she is finally starting to consider it.
