I did get to make some things and do a little experimenting with my new toys from my NSSSF while I was on vacation last week. I was driving myself nuts baking cakes for extra $$ and just decided I needed to make some ME time! I made a couple of ATC cards, and 3 cards. They are in my Webshots folders: CARDS (the last three entries) and MISC.CRAFTS.

I will be out of town for the next three days to attend the Supervalue Midwest Food Show in Peoria, IL. Luckily my dad lives there, and I am inviting him to be my guest at the hotel for cocktails and dinner Tuesday night. He always enjoys the hotel dinner. I am looking forward to this trip, as I don't always get to go and it is the last time it will be in Illinois! Our Asst. Bakery Manager usually attends and she didn't want to this time. I have gone with her enough times to get the job done by myself, so I am! We pre-book shipments at special prices and make deals, and get to view new items available, and get some really great ideas for the holidays for merchandising and getting better sales for our department. Oh yeah, did I mention I get to SAMPLE a bunch of goodies too? OMG a person could make theirselves sick with all there is to offer, so I have to be choosy on what I sample. We also get to take home packages of samples on the second day of the show because the vendors don't want to take it all back with them...LOL and we usually have full bags of merchandise to cart home! I am also planning on a trip to my favorite LSS while I am there, AND we are planning on going to the Paradice riverboat Casino too!!!! FUN FUN! Cya all when I get back! Linda
