Organizing... what a headache

It couldn't be easy could it! The end results though made it worth it. If you click on make picture "full sized" it make it easier to view the whole picture. I have my lengthy descriptions below the photos hope it makes sense.

BTW the colored baskets that fill the cubes... what the heck does one store in them. The fabric doesn't take books well. I have pens in one, but everything turns into a jumble in the basket. Not sure how to use them to organzie.

Kings Crown, It looks great. Can you use zip ties to connect the shelves the way you want?

The colored baskets are pretty.I love the lime and lavender together. You can label them with tags and pretty ribbons. You can put magazines, stamps, inks, punches, tools, one for misc stuff. Do manila folders fit in there if so, you can use them to divide the unmounted stamps or even scraps of paper or smaller cardstock.

Way to Go Lynne! Looks very nice and organized. I like the look of the colored baskets. Would the baskets hold magazines well? I like Dizzy D's idea for the unmounted stamps. If the baskets hold file folders you could also separate all your embellies in the folders by catagory also.

Congrats, all your hard work paid off.

Hey what a great job you did. I started looking at your scrap pages too and loved everything I've seem so far. But gotta run to exercise in a couple of minutes so I'm going back for more real soon. Love your recipe scrapbook. I bought a few things the other day to start one . . . someday. When someday comes I'm going to be one busy person. LOL Hugs, Bonnie A

Thanks DizzyD. I had thought of the zip ties and thought if I could get some black ones maybe it wouldn't look so bad. I love your suggestions. Thanks for the help.

I did take one of them last night and put all my fibers and flowers into it. I had magazines in one and the weight of them and books stretches the fabric. I LOVE the colors of the fabric baskets, but a more substantial basket would probably work better. I'll have to keep playing with them.

Thanks Bonnie. Start your recipe album one page at a time. Mine have mostly come from Recipe swaps with this group.

How did that work? Meaning the recipe swap. Did the participants scrap their recipe and then exchange? Hugs, Bonnie A

Yes, a group of us scrap a recipe usually based on a theme the hostess picks out. Then we scrap a recipe for each person in the swap. Send them to the hostess, who divies them up and mails them out to the recipe swap participants. Then you'll have say 12 different recipes if there were 12 people in the swap. Well, one recipe will be your own, but you know what I mean.

that looks great Lynne!! I like the color combo also.

At car parts stores you can get bundlesor packages of multi-colored ties. some bright colored ones may help on tieing it all together, though black being neutrl would work too.
