OT:A little chit chat

Well I haven't posted in a couple days, been sorta busy~...lol Well Sunday night I had a pain in my leg, and then it got worse and started to swell, by Monday morning my knee was huge and I couldn't walk on it at all. so I went to the emergency room, and they tell me that I strained my knee. humph, I didn't do anything so okay, still swollen and still hurts like hell. So now I have to stay off my leg for a couple days with 3 small children, 2 toddlers and a 3 month old, NOT GONNA HAPPEN!! lol, sucks. But the good thing about all of this is I got my Sidekick in the mail today! Yippy! So far its lots of fun! I just printed a bunch of pictures off, and now I am heading back to my table to scrap a little before my pain meds kick in and put me to sleep! Also I just bought a new adhesive thingy, its called a Trio. It has 3 different size double sided tapes and it is shaped like a triangle, so there is a different size for each corner. Its really great, and its also embossable! Thought I would share that little tid bit with you all as well! Also Happy Easter !!

That Trio sounds really cool. I'm going to have to look for it. Thanks for the tip.

I know when you have young children it's hard as he** to take care of yourself, but hope you're able to take it a little easy. Hope you feel better soon.

Hello to you too!! Yeah I missed you in my intro to the group, but it looks like you were on a little vacation/paper binge...lol I haven't bought anything but white paper for the past 2 months, I make my own, its alot of fun, rubber stamping and painting, and chalking!! I should make you some and send em your way, you would love em, if you love paper!!

Please do try to stay off that leg as much as you can! I know it is very hard when you have little ones! Hope it gets better soon! Let us know how you are doing!

ha, funny stuff, I got a call from the ER I went to saying someone else looked at my x-rays, and there is fluid around my knee, among other things, but I need to see a Orthopedic surgeon to get further evaluated...FUN FUN!! So I have an appointment tomorrow, hope everything goes well, I am scared of Surgery!!

I've had 6 knee surgeries and some of them were not, could not be done with a scope! Believe me, they do most anything with a scope right now and you leave walking often the very same day with a couple of bandaids! Odds are you won't even need surgery, but if you do it really is no big deal! Good luck with your appointment!

You seriously need to rest that leg.....whether you have three little ones or not! Can't you get a family member to share the load? I know that it is really hard for Mom's but if you neglect things now and do permanent damage.....what then????
