YIPPEE!! Got up this morning and phone was back on. So glad that I can talk again, being stuck at home and being mum, well it is hard LOL!! Now don't get me wrong, I should not sound so enthusiasctic because there is still many without anything. As I write this at 6pm ish there is still some 200,000 in the metro out of power. That is not to mention all the people in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa that also got a bunch of ice. They are saying we got the most of it because of being so close to the flow out of Texas LOL!
I was so fortunate that I never lost power. There was like a 2 or 3 square mile area that had power the whole time. The rest of the area you might have power but neighbors would not. It looks so much like a war zone with ALL the trees down and damaged. It is going to be weeks for them to get cleaned up let alone your own yards - ugh!
I made a new album in my webshots of the pictures I took. It just makes me sick, especially seeing already how different it looks without the trees there. Oh well, mother nature knows best and life will go on.
SO now to catch up on what ya'll have been yakking about past few days! Oh I did get most ALL of my cards done. Just gotta go mail them now, not to mention my SS package!!! OOOHHH I can hardly wait for the lucky recipient! ALso need to call April and see what she is doing and make Christmas plans. She told me last night she has MOST of her cards done - Yea I bet!
