OT: CAROLYN - flooding

Are you OK down there? I know you live between Haltom City, Gainesville and Sherman area. Are you and your dh on high ground away from a flood zone?

We have had bad rains even up here over past week. We are so tired of the rain that we woder if Seatllites wished it here where we have been dry for past 2 to 3 years. We have had so much rain this spring that the lakes and ponds in the state are the fullest they have been in 5 years.

Anyhow wanting to know and see that you are safe and DRY.

Hey, Dave, no worries!

No, we aren't close to those areas, thank God! Our prayers are with those who are, though! :*(

My sister lives on the southern part of the Fort Worth area, but they're doing fine too.

We haven't had any rain since yesterday early morning. Been dry since--and hot! Muggy, humid, bleh.

The worst thing about this rain is that Maya and I were in a fender bender at an intersection on Saturday, but it was very, very minor, and we weren't hurt, again, thank God!! Our SUV just needs some minor repairs, as far as we know right now, haven't been checked by insurance people yet...
