OT: Cost of water research

My sister, a 3rd grade teacher in NM, is doing a lesson next week on the cost of water. So, of course, she asked me to find out for the Little Rock area. If you would be willing to partake in this, I would appreciate it. I'll pass the info on to her to share with her class. Here's what I need:

city/town & state you live in the cost of water per 100 cubic feet (CF) population of the city/town you live in

I need the info no later than Wednesday the 22nd. You can email it to me at bsrdjr AT sbcglobal DOT net. Thanks!

Oh, by the way, for the town in NM my sis lives in, "tier 1" is $1.03 per

100 CF. Once you go over a certain number of 100 CF, it jumps! Water can get priceless in the desert. LOL

Math was never my strong point so maybe someone can check this and see if I did it right.

10,000 gallons cost $22.70 cost per gallon = 22.70/10,000 = $0.00227

gallons to cubic foot = 10000 x 0.1337 = 1337

1337/100 = 13.37

22.70/13.37 = $1.70 per 100 CF

Bucks County, Pennsylvania Population 617,558

From what I observed there, YOU did fantastic as I am really lost - LOL!!

So glad I do not pay for all those 'extras', as they are included in my rent.
