Midnight Swap Idea

Ya know when you are trying to get back to sleep, and ideas pop into your head?

Well - last night I was thinking about a project I need to get finished, which lead to thinking about some techniques I'd like to try...

And for me, when I sit down to "create" I don't always think of those techniques, so end up going with what I know...and so what's best is to challenge myself to try it when I am sitting down...

So - my idea is a variation on a journaling jar (where there are pieces of paper with ideas/questions/thoughts for journaling)...

Instead - what I am thinking is that we'd do a mini-challenge paintcan (or other container) swap, where, we would each create an altered paintcan (or other container) and fill it with maybe 30? or so technique ideas, quotes, or questions that we can use as we sit down to give us tht extra boost of inspiration..

It would be similar to the Clipboard Swap hosted by RJ, where we each get 1 person to send to...

So - what do folks think?

I get those light bulb moments when I'm trying to sleep sometimes. Except my problem is that I forget it by the time I wake up! LOL But, it sounds like an interesting idea! Lately, I feel like I could use all the inspiration I can get. LOL I might be interested. It would depend on the timeframe, etc.

Deb -

Thanks.

I would love to get a good group together, but I am sure a fair amount of time would be good....

Jessica, Don't let me miss it when you post for sign-up. I think it's a neat idea. I recently saw the smaller quart size paint cans at Michaels and have been thinking of a use for one. Sandy

I would love to be in another swap, but I just can't right now! I have possibly 11 -16 2 page 6x6 LO's to do before our Meet at the Barn, no to mention try to plan what to take there,, and have to try and work out time for all that between working full time and housework! LOL It does sound interesting! Linda

Thanks Linda!

Whew! LOL I was really hoping you would put it off until after the barn. Things are piling up enough as it is at my house. LOL
