Title swap anyone??

I am interested in hosting a title swap. There will be twelve participants. Each participant would pick a month out of the year and create a title for a holiday, season, event or whatever occurs during that month. They would have to also include 2-3 embellishments that go with the title that can be used on the page. You will have to make 12 so everyone can have one! As with any swap, the work has to be artistic and some sort of technique or embellishment must be used. We are not talking copy machine quality we are talking artistic flair. It is time to show off! Sign ups will be for two weeks, then two weeks to get the titles in to me. They are just titles and not pages so I am assuming that would be reasonable, if not, please kick me, or tell me. Anyone interested?

I'm interested. 8 1/2 X 11 or 12 X12?

I've been wanting to do one of these kind of swaps. Please count me in. Can I have July? Sandy

I think most of us do 12X12 pages. If we did 12X12 and used 8 1/2 X 11 as a guide, those who did the smaller pages can just snip off the extra 1/2 inch on each side. What do you think?

I'm a 12x12 person. I would think though, a title does not necessarily go from edge to edge every time, so I would think it could be adaptable. Plus a title could go horizontally or vertically. Sandy

I'd love to do December. That would force me to actually have some scrapping fun!

Christina. I had to give October to Helen who signed up for it on the 10th. I tried to be fair and give October to the first person who asked for it. There are still five months left. You are welcome to join this swap still and this is the current list:

January

February--Melissa

March

April--Cathy

May

June

July --Sandy

August--Jacqui

September

October--Helen

November --Lynne

December--MC

I hope this helps!

Lori,

You should definately participate! A title is the easiest first step to doing swaps because it's much smaller than an entire page for everyone. We are all of very different skill levels and we all have different styles and techniques that we use. This is a great group and no one has ever been embarrased or chastised for being "new" we all support each other and, in fact, you may discover that you are overestimating us as a group. Yes, there are some incredible scrappers here but it must be said that we all underestimate ourselves and underappreciate what we have accomplished.

My first swap was called the Rainbow Swap and we all took a color and created pages for everyone with those colors. I made mine pretty basic because I didn't know what to expect. And, yes, I may have underdone some of it but I loved what I did and so did everyone else. But the best part about the whole experience was that my confidence went up and I got the thrill and excitement when my package arrived with everyone's finished pages. It's such an awesome experience... I encourage you to participate.

Is this still open? Is there an updated list on what month/s are available?
