I am thinking of requesting baby pre-made pages to help me catch up on Zen's baby album's. She is 14 months now and pics are in her album at

I figure I have a lot of extras here, including boy baby album stuff. Then the 2 packages I have coming in the next week with a lot of extras I am sure too. I would be willing to pay $10-$20 in scrapbooking supplies for baby pages, using pictures from her albums that are posted. This is just an idea. I also figured it needs to be more personal so I should just do it myself. WIth wildblue wireless I should finish my internet doings faster and get to her albums now. huh?....

let me know what you think... just pasing some ides.

I think it's a good idea. You would end up with a mix of pages done by you and by others and you aren't stress over unfinished projects. Not doing a LO yourself does not take away from the cherished memory.

I had been thinking about an idea for a swap where we swapped pictures and allowed an RCS friend to create LOs using the pictures we sent. I sometimes get tired of seeing my own work in an album. I love my barn album because it has LOs created by my friends.

April - I agree with Amy, I think it would be neat to tell her someday that your friends helped you out with creating the Album for her!

And, it would be fun to see what other people did. I actually find I enjoy scrapping other peoples photos!!

Jesse and I once talked about a similar swap, where we would exchange photos to scrap. I think it would be a fun idea.

So - April, I think you have a good idea!

It sounds like a good idea to me. I would simply ask them to leave a journaling block for you to go back to later. It certainly would take the pressure off of you finishing the album by yourself.

Also, go back to the purpose of the album? Sometiems thinking about the purpose of the album helps me in the planning phase.

I think it's a good idea. I made a whole album for a friend of mine. All she has to do is put the photos in. That has proved to be a challenge for her. My thinking is if you hire someone to do your album maybe give them the photos too. The only problem with that is there might be pictures that are really special to you and a stranger wouldn't know it. So, maybe you could post it note the special ones and let them cull through the other to make your pages. As Deb said too make sure they leave you space for journaling.
