i was just letting everyone know, it's that time of year. fundraising for the schools. although this year, her school is teaming up with a wonderful foundation. it's called Smile Train. they give free surgery to kids who otherwise couldn't afford it for cleft pallets. they have everything from customized items to cookbooks. candies and candles and kitchens gadgets. if anyone is interested just let me know. you can do everything online and i'll give you syd's school id number and personal number so her school gets credit. 50% of the proceeds goes to the school and 50% goes to the foundation. in our small town of 30,000 people we have a whopping 9 elementary schools. i took her out last night and she didn't sell anything. everybody we talked to had either bought from kids, grandkids, nieces, etc. Smile Train is dear to my heart because before my little sister was adopted from china last year, she recieved a surgery curtousy of Smile Train. email me if anyone would like the web address to take a look at what she's selling. oh yeah there are also magazine subscriptions for very cheap. i got Creating Keepsakes for i think $12 a year. thanks everyone.
