Black Floss Frustration

I have heard that all Wal Marts are going from DMC to Anchor, a few stores at a time. So perhaps they are not re-ordering in the transition.

My only other choices, Jo-Anns and Michaels really aren't very much better.

Too late, Lucille!! I just got back from our village store, and dropped the floss in the the box at the Post office at the same time. For just this once, I was *efficient*!

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one losing my patience over the "all politics all the time" mode.... I shred more political BS than regular junk mail right now....

Funny - when I went to vote last year, it was at a school, and there was school in session.... at least there were kids there... maybe it was daycare????

And this year I'm working at one of the polling centers, which is at another school... And I just looked up our school systems web site, and it lists no school on election day.

We have early voting, which I did last Tuesday. It's great fun to scream into the phone for the fifteenth time every night since then that they should leave me alone, I already voted.

I live in an area with lots of seniors and we seem to be a target for every candidate, both the real ones and some that are just there to be annoyances, and no one seems to worry about party affiliation.

It's not a federal holiday, so yes the banks are open, and there is mail delivery. That's why the polls are open early and late - so that most people can both work and vote (we have to be at our polling staion to work at 5 am, and don't leave til about 8:30, after polls close at 7).

The holiday - day off for Veteran's Day is on Friday for federal workers - though the day is Nov 11.
