Well I've been off the site for almost 2 weeks. Last week my family and I went to Disney in FL. I hadn't been on a real vacation since my honeymoon in 1992. I was very excited to go. Especially taking the kids on a real vacation. I think we took the cool weather with us to FL. It was chilly the first couple of days then started warming up. By the time we had to leave to come home I just wanted to stay another week to enjoy the weather and go to the beach.
I felt like a little kid. You wouldn't beleive how excited I was to see the castle at magic kingdom. It felt like a dream. I was so tired by the time we left that day. We was there 12 hours. We still could have used another day to see the rest. Tuesday we went to MGM. It was fun. We seen a few stunt shows and rode some rides. Wednesday we went to SeaWorld. We got to pet some dolphins. That was neat. We went to the Shamu show. We was told to be there 1/2 ahead. Well, it was almost full when we got there. We had to sit in the very front row. We got so drenched. Thursday went to the beach. My youngest woke up that morning with the flu. So we just went to the beach for few minutes so they could see it. They got some shells. Seen some alligators along the way back in ditches on the road. Friday we headed home. I had planned to meet Tonya (Yanya) my NSSSF on our way home. She was going to be clogging at a Festival. It was going to be a great way to end a great vacation. Unfortunately since Tanner had gotten the flu and there was ice storms going through TN we decided not to stop. I had so wanted to meet her. It took us took days to get there and two days to get back. On saturday, the second day traveling home, I got the flu. I had to ride him 9 hours in the truck with that. OH how terrible it was. So I'm glad I didn't stop to see Tonya. I would have felt terrible giving her the flu. I was so glad to get home.
Over the course of our trip I took almost 900 pictures. I'm so thankful for digital camera's. I put some of them in webshots under the disney folder. I couldn't put that many. Webshots wouldn't let me.
