OT: Home, relaxed, tired, and haven't unpacked a darn thing.

My stay at the Barn was wonderful! Great food, awesome company, and I even got some scrapping done. LOL I really enjoyed having MC as my "navigator" because she made it such an enjoyable drive. We got silly a few times! Jelly Bellies on the way to the Barn did the trick. LOL On the way home, it was caffeine sodas and chocolate...WEEEE!!!!

It was so great to meet Lynne, RJ, Tammy, Katrina, Sandy, Amy, April, Amanda, Shannon, and Linda! In fact, the only one at the Barn that I had already met was MC and of course Dave. But it felt like I just already knew everyone there. It was just like talking here on RCS. Not only do I have a face to put with a name, but also a voice and personality. It was great getting to know everyone!

I didn't get to see everything that everyone made while they were there, so I'm hoping everyone can post their LO's and other creations. I completed one of the three teacher paper bag albums for this year. I'll try to get it scanned tomorrow afternoon or evening. I started the 2nd, and started work on DH's anniversary present. (Our anniversary is the 24th, so I have to get my rear in gear on that!) I'll post as things are done. Oh, and Friday evening I got inspiration for a LO for MC. It hit me like a ton of bricks while we were all shopping at the LSS that stayed open late for us. I got a lot of help from RJ with pics. Thank you RJ!! I really didn't mean to make MC cry, though. I just feel so blessed to have been able to get to know her over the past year and a half.

Not only does the Barn have great food, friendly staff, but it's also in a great setting. It's very pretty! Even with all the trees, this desert rat was happy.

Between the trip to and trip home, I've seen Missouri (home of the scrubbing bubbles..aka hard rain and hail storm), Illinois, Indiana (obviously), Kentucky, and parts of Tennessee that I hadn't seen. Can you tell I don't get out much? LOL

Anyways, I'm home, relaxed, and tired. Not tired from exhaustion, but just so relaxed I'm tired. Hope that makes sense. DH and the kids seemed to have survived without me the past 6 days. (But we all know that my cell works at the Barn, don't we? LOL) Except for DS getting very angry that I wasn't home Monday morning to take him to school. Slight miscommunication on my part. Digit (my new kitten) seemed to really miss me. He followed me around this morning like a lost puppy. DD learned to ride her bike while I ws gone! And the school is evaluating her for Gifted & Talented. I'm very proud of her.

Ok, gotta do supper now. Back to being a Mom!
