OT: Home Tonite ONLY!

well thought I would (BETTER!) pop in and say HI YA'LL and let ya know one journey down, 3 or 4 more to go!!

The next leg which I leave tomorrow afternoon will be a long one, I will not be home until the 20th, so ya'll better not yak too much!!

Anyhow I had a GREAT stop in Chicago where I stayed overnite in Theresa's area and we ate out, yakked, ate, talked and we shopped and yakked some more!! I was so shocked at her, she has been so successful thus far with her surgery. She also seemed so much happier with her life settling down (BIG HUGS - AGAIN!) and she confessed she had not been shopping fro HERSELF in so long, well I just had to enable>

I finally got to go to a Archivers, WOW!! They are nice stores,, have all the latest and proud of it too!! BUT THE SALE AREA, well that was the problem, I ended up getting about 150 sheets of paper and still did not get to see it all - RATS!! (maybe a BIG blessing to the checkbook!)

Anyhow I had such a great visit and now on to my next adventure!! Am heading out to DC, NJ and MA. Have plans to stop and see Teresa in MD, AND THE BIGGIE, Dorothy and Kate in NYC where I am staying overnite Friday the 15th!! I am so excite to meet another special person in the group -Dorothy. She was my very first ever swap person, SS back in 2003. I think!!

Then I go on up to MA that Saturday to spend a day of free time there before working my buns off on Monday and my return back home on the

2oth.

So that is t in a nutshell, ok, PACK of paper - LOL! and will of course holler, err, CHECK o ya'll when I get back!!!

((BIG HUGS!!)

Glad to see you made it home ok...happy trails for the next few weeks!

Yes, he enabled!!! I finished a 20x8 composite frame (for my brother & sister-in-law's wall) of my 2 year old nephew as the ring bearer flirting and teasing with the flower girl...ending up in a kiss. I'd take pictures to share it except my dad has my digital camera for our fly-in that he's hosting this weekend. I also finished the album from my brother's wedding starrrrrrrrrring my nephew! :-) (My brother in AZ got married and the brother, wife and nephew from St Louis went to the wedding. So, if you were playing who's who, no the nephew was not the groom's son. Too many peoples to keep straight!) Anyway, did the frame and the album as the St Louis family will be here this weekend.

I spent a couple of bucks on things for me...3 magazines. (Haven't read a new one since I was last in the hospital.) I finally got the little-X Xyron thinggie. I bought a few things for the projects I just finished. The ruler like thing that isn't a straight edge but lets you tear straight but in a pattern-- HAD to have one. I've been wanting one because I am very anal retentive about straight lines, but like the occasional torn look. It had my name on it. The tough part was only getting one. LoL! And of course, I had things in my hand that I had to put down because I need to dust off and see what I have and THEN go buy more. :-) But, at least now the dust is flying.

I'm so glad Dave enabled you! :-) Isn't that the point of this group? LOL But I'm even more happier to hear your scrapping again. WOOHOO! Glad you explained on the nephew in the wedding. LOL That's too funny about the ring bearer and flower girl kissing! DD was the flower girl for my brother's wedding, almost 2 at the time. No kiss though. She ran down the aisle, swinging her basket (the only way petals got on the floor), and headed to Papa (my dad)....leaving the ring bearer at the back of the church. LOL Poor little guy.

I'm so glad to hear from you Dave. Sounds like you've been busy. What I want to know is when do you ever get to scrap with all these supplies you keep buying. LOL.
