OT: I'm here, really I am!

Hey all RCSers,

I really am alive, really I am, and I know I haven't posted like I usually do. (Which was what...several times a day?!) I have missed this newsgroup!!!!!!!!!!!

School started today, so DD is now in 1st grade. Boy the house is quiet during the day, especially since DD & DS can't run around each other all day!

Things are still kinda crazy. Our landlord is selling the house, so we're dealing with it being shown 1 or more days a week. We're NOT buying this house, so we're trying to get approved for a home loan and find a house of our own. (First time home owners so this is a BIG step for us!) Along with that, I'm having allergy shots 2x a week. (One more vile to go, then it's down to like once a week!) Throw in everyday life things, like housework, & church...yep, it's kinda crazy here! On top of it all, I'm not myself. The doctor had me go in for a 3 hr glucose tolerance test (diabetes runs in my family) and it came back normal. I don't FEEL "normal" though! I don't have the energy I usually do, get shaky, hungrier than I usually am, etc. It's not that I don't have the desire to do anything, I just don't have the energy. I go back to the doc Tuesday afternoon. Somethings going on in my body, and I really would like to know what!

Sorry for rambling. I really do miss this group. I've scanned over messages, though. I'm glad to see all our FL peoples are safe and sound. Tabitha, hang in there, just remember that you can tell your child all the things you went through to bring it into the world! :-) MC, glad to see your hubby is doing good. Hope he's back on his feet so you two can play in your new house and new city! Welcome to all the newbies I've missed. Belated happy birthday greetings to all those birthdays I missed, too!

I'll try to check in and post more often, now. I think it'll be easier to do that now that DD's in school and I only have one rugrat..err, darling child running around during most of the day. :-)

Hi Deb. Sounds like you have been busy. I hope you get a quick approval and find your perfect home. How did your DD like her first day? I hope the allergy shots work for you. Your lack of energy could be tied in to your bodies reaction to the allergy shots. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Deb. Here is hoping that you feel much better soon. I take it that the glucose tolerance test also ruled out hypoglycemia? When you feel better and I get all the boxes out of the guest room and the craft room set up, we'll have to start talking about your coming here for scrapbook/stamping extravaganza. You can stay overnight if you want. We'll work around Kenda's schedule and maybe we can get Dave and Renee and who knows who else to stopin to. Should be fun!!

Hugs

It's been a very busy summer, Teresa, and as much as I enjoyed it...I'm so glad it's over! LOL DD loved first grade. One girl in her class was in her Kindergarten class last year. Sounds like the boy that had a crush on her last year is at least still her friend. :-) I've been wondering if my body is reacting to the allergy shots! Just my luck to have an allergic reaction to the shots that are SUPPOSED to keep me from having allergies in the first place. LOL

Supposedly the GTT ruled out hypoglycemia. I still don't feel normal. LOL (Wait, have I ever been normal?) I would love to go to LR for scrapping and stamping! But take your time getting boxes unpacked, don't rush yourself and tire yourself out.

It's good to be back. :-) I'm hoping all goes well with the house, too. The health situation I can deal with on the side.

Boy they get crushes younger every year. :-) Talk to your allergy doctor about how you feel. The shots can sometimes have a reaction initially, but talk to your doctor since he should know for sure. I hate it when what you take to get better makes you feel worse. Glad your DD like her first day. :-)
