as you all know, i love altering things. well, i was on a great trading site (thanks to Luna)and found a lady who wants to trade some cigar boxes for paper. of course, i jumped on that one. DH and i got to talking and reminded me that who would have more cigar boxes than a smoke shop. Duh myself. we live close to an indian reservation, so we have a few smoke shops. anyway, the ones that i called don't get the cigars in the wooden or board boxes. just the little packs. so, i called one of the shops by DD school and the guy working said, the owner takes them home. i thought, oh well. there was one more store downtown that has imported gifts, he said he gets them from the manufatuer before cigars are put in them to resell. well, i went down there and he wants $15 for a small wooden one!! on a whim, i decided to drive up to the shop and possibly talk to the owner adn explain that i'm wanting to do a class with them and ask if i could get about 15. i got two large wooden ones from the guy that was working. i was so excited, i wanted to talk to the owner and tell him thank you and see if he knew where i could get my hands on more. (he was busy when i was in there). he said give him a few days, and call him back. long story, i know, but i had to share. DH just doesn't understand the big deal.
