LOL re: "You Know Who".

If you click on "profile" for one of the offending posts, it says, "This account has been banned because it violated the Google Groups Terms Of Use". But then why are all the posts still appearing? :::sigh:::

You know who must be blocked from me, because I don't have a clue who you're talking about. My email program has a blocking device.

'You know who' is blocked from me also Lynne. I use the Outlook Express Block Sender function for any SPAM posts...never see them after the first one. :o) I do the same for every unsolicited email I receive for everything from phishing emails to pharmacuticals.

Take care, Marilyn

I use outlook express as well so I blocked you know who a while ago. Because we are not really a gogle group but a newgroup being read through google, there is no real way to block this guy via google.

For those of you using google and wanting an alternate way to access this group from anywhere (it even works when you are in different hotels with different providers), you can do what I do and that is pay just a little over $13/yr and use individual.net. There is a link and some instructions at:

I haven't had a chance to update them yet, but I do know that the link still works. With Individual net, you can use outlook express to read and post to RCS. M-C

Ack. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has spammed all 12 of the newsgroups I'm in, plus many more, I'm sure!!! I used Thunderbird for my mail and groups, and I'm having to killfile this bonehead all over the place. Hopefully he won't be changing his email address, or I'll have to do it all over again!! >:-(

I don't think I've ever encountered this person! I'm certainly not seeing anything spamlike on this group...

I think you're good Carolyne, because I must have killfiled them in the past. The only reason I know they are back is from the post of others in the 3 newsgroups I keep up with.
