OT: Never underestimate Goodwill.

In Patchogue I had his overwhelming urge to go to this Goodwill on Main Street. Good thing I did. I got 35 refills for my Xyron 500 and

250 for $5.00, they were going to throw them out and I wimpered. I said no. He said for $5 you can have them all. I just missed Sizzilets by 2 minutes as he said he 100 of them (in the cases and full alphabets) and he sold them for a $1 as he said "they are useless." I gave him my phone number and my sister said she would go there if he has anything scrapbooking and front the money.

Good grief, two minutes.

Wow and I was proud of myself for getting the elusive sizzix bitty bathing suit die for only $5 last week.

Useless!!!!!!!!

Oh how wrong he is! I hope he does keep and use your number in the future. Great job following your intuition :)

Holy crap!!! you got all that for ive bucks? wow!! Linda

You lucky duck! Why oh why can I never find a bargain like that??????

Green with envy... Sandy

What a great bargain! And they ARE pretty useless to a lot of the folks who shop at goodwill - if you don't have the money for crafty toys, you're not going to need their accessories! But it was a good bargain for you. (and for whoever snatched up the sizzlets!)

What a deal & find. I sure hope the Goodwill person will call you with other scrappy items.

The question I want to know is.... how those items got to Goodwill??? I could not imagine giving away my precious scrapbook stuff to Goodwill. lol.

Geez, you are one lucky lady! That is amazing. I sure hope he uses your number.

Wow! What a bargain! My Xyron 150 just ran out last weekend, wish I was there - lol!

Wow Kate! You could even turn around and eBay the stuff! Hopefully his prices won't go up now that he knows that he has a serious buyer!
