Loved this...so true, so true...once when my husband took me to a shopping mall, he said, "you run in while I sit here in the car for 10 minutes or so." I say, "whaaaat?" To him, you go in, buy it and get the heck out of there in 10 minutes. What a wasted trip. Donna

Auto parts stores, car dealerships, horse races, board meetings, training classes, PTA meetings, DMV (esp. in Calif.), cosmetic make-up parties, jewelry parties, - all places where time stood still. Gene's pretty good about waiting around quilt shops; I think he has it pretty easy. & he knows the 2 "allowable" questions after a shopping trip: Did you get what you want? Do you need help carrying it in?
