I am asking my friends here to go to this website and cast a vote for my future brother in law! He is a participant in the Peoria Steamboat Idol. It is a karaoke contest, and he made the top 10 finalists!! I am so happy for him, and I wish I could have been there to cheer him on. I have personally heard him sing, and he doesn't even need the words most of the time, to sing along to. I think he is awesome! The judges compare online votes and votes at the event and the votes are compared, and whoever gets the most at both will win, or there may be a 'sing-off' to determine the winner. Casey works as a karaoke DJ, and has a really good singing voice. He once tried out for American Idol, and they said he sounded great but didnt look 'the part'.
