OT: Positive Thoughts please!

Hey all. I know I am new, but I really could use some positive energy out there in the universe right now.

Since I've seen other folks post similar messages, I thought I'd do it to, while you're at it. : In the mean time I will pray and send my positive thoughts to all you who have asked in return!

Due to a series of unfortunate events - in a nutshell - I had an abusive job, quit, got new job that pays too little, got a rommate that paid not at all for 3 months, causing me to get deeper in debt and further and further behind, and hard to pay bills and mortgage, much less buy scrapbook stuff - I am looking for new job.

I was just turned down for 2 I wanted today, which was not only dissapointing because I wanted those jobs, but because I need to be making more soon!

So - there is one more that I have recently interviewed for that I am REALLY wanting, and think I'd be great for. I am supposed to hear this week If I can move to the next step in the process, and I really want it. (Event planning/Employee recognition for Washington Mutual Bank)

So would you lovely lovely new friends out there just think good thoughts for me?

I will gladly add you to my list of people/friends to pray and send possitive thoughts to/for. Good luck and I know it doesnt feel like it now and I am sure you are sick of hearing it from people who are not in your shoes right now, BUT .......... things always have a way of working themselves out. I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. When I'm feeling really bad and my head is hanging off the couch I'll say something my Grandmother says that for some reason would crack me up... "At least I've got my health." So, I say it crack up and I know it up hill from there.

You all are such a great group. I am moved by all the good thoughts, and I will keep my own thoughts up and positive. Sometimes we've got to face the challenges to reap the rewards, right? Thanks again - and all the best to all of you!

Oh Jessica!!! First of all you are not NEW here!! You have been in often enough I believe that you know us.

Next of all we all here are for these off topic things too. We consider us as 'family' and I c tell ya from all the ones I have met, I have truly felt welcomed as such!

YEAH! That's great to hear Jessica! When is the interview? You'll be in my prayers. I know how much you want this job and getting a job you want is a lot more fun than getting a job you need. Keep up the good attitude!

The interview is on Monday. I am excited. When I had my phone interview, the guy I"d work for just seemed so nice, and we hit it off

- and I'd even met him once! (He was the outgoing president of my condo board, the year I joined it). Which is a big part of why I want it. So - thank you all for your wonderful support and love! It's an amazing thing to have such a great little community.

And MC - what's the latest with DH's job prospects? Thanks again!

DH did not get the job Jes. So we have to pack up and go back to FL in May. He really wanted this and he worked extra hard for the school here hoping to get it, so it's a bit of a kick in the teeth for him. That makes me really sad. But at least he has a job in FL to go back to and I have a bunch of friends there and my DS. I'll really, really miss the friends I've made here and the kinder gentler lifestyle. I was hoping to stay. But one thing about me my long term friends know; I only sulk for 24 hours and then I get real and go with the flow. I think life is way to short to moan and groan and feel sorry for oneself.
