OT: Savannah got her liver!!!!

I just heard and I'm crying like a baby! This is from her blog...

Surgery was a success!!! Submitted by Robert on Sat, 12/29/2007 - 1:35pm. Hi everyone! This is Ana's brother Ozzie. I have the honor of making an entry today in the journal that has kept us all up to date for many many months on Savannah's journey.

Today is a day of extreme miracles! Ana and Robert just told me that Savannah's surgery went very well and was a success!! What wonderful words to hear and to be able to share with all of you today. After Savvy's surgery, she was a little groggy, but in her typical Warrior Princess style, pulled out her I.V.! The doctor informed Ana and Robert that the rollercoaster has just begun... Ana's response was "at least we are now ON the rollercoaster".

We want to make sure we conitnue our prayers for Savannah, Ana, and Robert, so that they may have a speedy recovery as they embark on their new journey. We will also be praying for the family of the child that made this miracle possible. Our hearts go out for their loss.

On a personal note, I wanted to take this opportunity to ackowledge my Sister Ana and my Brother-in-law Robert for their courage, strength, determination, love and faith, they have shown through this entire process. They definitely took the advice that my Father and his Father always told us and that was "to always march forward, never look back, not even to get your balance." They have taken this advice to a new level.

Thanks to everyone for their support. We will keep you posted on Savannah's recovery as get more information.

Que Dios Los Bendiga,

Ozzie Peraza
