OT: Something in my PC has died

Hi folks,

Just a super quick post to let you all know that something in my PC has died big time and I will be offline for the time being until I get it repaired or replaced. I have only managed to get the pesky thing to work with the Windows setup disk running in the CD-ROM and I can't run it like this. I thought a reformat and re-install would fix things, so I did that last night but no luck...so I am not sure what the problem is now :o( I have lost everything, photos, files, LO scans and the most important email addresses....AARGH!!!!!!

I will just say that I am awaiting a RAK from Cathy...who is now on vacation. She emailed me at the weekend to say it was on the way and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the kindness and generosity Cathy has shown by posting me this....but it looks like I may be unable to thank her privately or on the group when it arrives.

M-C if you don't hear further from me.....could I call on you to let Cathy now that I am grateful for the RAK and I will try to get back online ASAP. Take care everyone.....best wishes to Kenda for her surgery and a quick recovery.

Don't know what I did but I fixed the little blighter but I have.......Yeah!!!!!! Fingers crossed that I really have sorted it out, as I don't what to shell out for a new PC just yet. I took it right back to A: reformatted C: then reinstalled and so far everything is running sweet :o) No software loaded yet...just operating system, so I am off now to do the firewall and anti-virus.........doing a happy dance!!!!!!!!! Will catch up later with posts :o)
