Jen, the college-age daughter of my old bell choir director, is having brain surgery tomorrow. She's battled brain cancer the past few years. They're not sure if what they're seeing now is scar tissue or the tumor coming back. Good thoughts sent her way would be greatly appreciated.

In response to my query, my cousin provided the following update on Jen:
Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers. All I know at this point is that the surgery went well and Jen was recovering well after it yesterday. It will be a wait to find out what the pathology report says. Keep your fingers crossed!
