I know I ain't the only one getting this or WILL be getting it!!

Carloyn, you are sending it up here, Katrina and all to the ne, your turn is coming too!!!

Anyhow this big storm is busting out and brewing over Okla and Texas. Right now we have 29/30 degrees, it is thundering and lightning and YES, it is freezing. The eastern part of the state they are calling for severe ICE STORM, here in OKC a ice storm tonite. Then in the morning it is to turn to heavy snow with center part of state getting 5 to 8 inches. NE towards Tulsa, Missouri and Kansas City area , 8 to 15 inches.

They are calling it the biggest winter storm we have had since the Christmas of 200 ice storm.

For past week we have had daily temps around 70, tomorrow to be 30, 28 Friday and at night down to single digits. GEESH!!

So anyhow I am hoping the electric don't go out in middle of night. They say here in metro area they are expecting some, but to the east, they are fearing the worst.

ARKANSAS GALS - what are they calling for there?

Well stay safe and I am staying in. In fact am sitting here actually scrappin pictures!! All those from Cal this summer.

((HUGS!))

As I am getting ready to sed this, weather came on with update. 5 miles east of me there is uo to 2 inches of sleet falling already and they are saying up to 1 or more inches of ICE may be expected! OH woe for many people I am sure. The big ice storm I mentioned, I was only without power for about 16 hours. My home is all electric is why I worry.

You could keep the mess over OK, you know that? Here in Little Rock, it's supposed to start raining tomorrow morning. By tomorrow night, it's supposed to be sleet, etc....and cold. As long as it doesn't all turn into a mass of ice, or make the roads bad, I'll be happy. Stamp camp is at my house on Saturday, and Kenda hasn't been able to make it for like 2 months. We need some stamping time!! LOL

I think there's very little snow on the ground here. there's a lot of ice. It seems that it's just been sleeting since last night. It's still sleeting today. I'm defiantly not getting out today. Like I have anywhere to go anyhow. But, I will be getting out in the morning around 4:15 am to head to the hospital for my hysterectomy. Keep me in your prayers both on the way to the hospital and for the surgery. :) thanks!

Christina Tulsa, Okla.

Well it has been a nasty da to say the least! I got up this morn and there was about 1/4 inch ice on everything. Then it has snowed the rest of day now. Officially on flat areas where the 30 plus winds have not blown the snow we have about 5 inches. Supposed to stop tonite but get REALLY cold, about 15 and tomorrow nit 9.

It is the biggest snowstorm that includes blizzard warnings in the entire state in almost 50 years, and the worst since the big ice storm we had in Jan 2002.

Then the boss kinda irked me earlier trying to pressure me to b on time tomorrow to pickup a truck so we can meet their already arranged good weather load in time for a couple shows this weekend locally. I* flat told him I do not get in a hurry for no one. I think the argument is not over. So selfish all they care about is themselves and THEIR standing. Piss on the working man.

(sorry venting from the cold!)

((HUGS!!)) and prayers for all others that are to get this stuff!

I just hope I don't have to leave for work at 3 am!!! And trust me Deb, if I have to hitch all our bunnies, GP's, the dog and cat up to a sled I WILL be at your house Saturday, sometime for stamping!!!! **Invisioning the line up for the sled. Rocky, then Petey, B.B. and Bun-Bun side by side, Sophie the scared piggy and Spot the GP that walks like his got a pickle up his butt leading the team!!!** ROFL

ROFLMBO I can just see Spot out in front, leading the pack. Thank goodness nothing stuck and everyone could get out and about today. It's just frigid! LOL Although, a house down the street, had a tree fall over. It looks like it didn't hit anything, just fell across the street. I wound up going the long way around to get the kids to school. Inconvienent, but I'm glad the tree didn't hit a house or anything.

Yep, we got it Dave. 70 Monday & Tuesday w/ thunder storms. Wednesday plummetting temps and freezing rain. Thursday, cooooldd wind and snow. Luckily, for me anyway, since I work 6-2 I was able to be home before things got too bad. Both storms started right around 1 or 2. I'm off today and just sitting here looking out the door at how pretty the sparkly snow is w/ the sun shining on it. I really should go take some pics before the kids get all in it and it becomes ugly. I've already heard some out. Should've taken some when the sun was coming up and everything was pretty and orange. Oh well, I didn't.

The storm almost cut the city in half. The weathermen get their "official" temps, rainfall etc from whatever it is at the airport. Well, KCI didn't have any sign of snow. So in the books yesterday will go down as no snowfall. Go figure. My niece that just lives 30 mins north in KC, KS barely got anything. KC, MO got snow though.

Katr> I know I ain't the only one getting this or WILL be getting it!! >

well we ended up with only 1/2 inch of snow. cold as hell, and windy!!!! 2 hours west of me in Peoria, IL my dad got 8-10 inches of snow and had to dig himself out of the house, because of the drifting!!! we were lucky.

***but I wanted to see some SNOW!!!! ((pout> Here in Illinois it is now 61 degrees at 9:45 pm, and winds 15-20 mph,
