OT: Thoughts and Prayers Needed Please

Hi all,

We got a phone call from my BIL, my DMIL is not doing to well. She went in the hospital to get and angioplasty on her kidneys. When the went in to do the procedure, they found one of her kidneys is no longer functioning and the other was damaged by the dye they used for the tests before. She had kept all this from us, but my BIL thought we should know. She is not eating much and is not sure she is going to take dialysis. She could use all the thoughts and prayers you might send her way. Thanks for listening.

Sending good thoughts and prayers your DMiL's way Teresa. A friend of ours are on daily dialysis and waiting for a kidney transplant. It's a very difficult position to be in.

Thoughts and prayers go out to your DMIL and family. Jeff (my DH) was on diaylsis for a short time before he received a kidney transplant. He is doing great with his transplant. If you need to talk or any questions I may be able to help. Feel free to email me.

Thank you too all of you have offered your thoughts and prayers for my DMIL. We received a call today that she has taken a turn for the worse. I'll be off line for a while, as we are leaving in the morning to try to get there before the end. DH has to arrange things through work. I'll try to get back online ASAP.

Oh Teresa, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. I understand how difficult this is for your DH and the rest of the family. Last week was difficult for us here also. My uncle who was more like a brother to me as we were raised together by his parents (my grandparents) lost his battle with lung, brain and bone cancer on Thursday after my granddaughter was born on Tuesday. We have tried to be positive about this as he is in a much better place now and no longer suffers. I was just so glad that as God decided it was his time my mother went before him. I know she would not have been able to handle the loss of her baby brother. Healing thoughts and prayers, Sandy
