OT: Training wheels on bike

We got Evan a new bike with the training wheels last week (which he was having so much fun riding on that new bike with training wheels on it). One of the training wheels came loose and we decide to take them off. He was really riding that bike withouth the training wheels (after we push him a little bit to get him going). I took LOT of pictures of him on that new bike. He was smiling from ear to ear. We are so proud of him. He told us that he is going in the "bike race" just like that person Lance Armstrong ha. Oh I just had to "brag" about him on that new bike. Thanks for listening!!!!!!!! Marcie

Marcie, That is great! Sometimes kids have to have the training wheels a long time! He is very good!!

Tell him congratulations from us. It is a real milestone to get those training wheels removed. Seems like this is the point when you realize they are moving from little boy to big boy and you know they are really going to grow up. Definitely a scrapping memory. Sandy

Oh that's so awesome!! How old is he? My oldest will be 5 in August, and I am planning on getting him a 2 wheeler for his bday. I think he will go nuts for it! He is just so tall, and well his tri-cycle is just way to small...lol He hits his knees when he rides...But I have a 3 year old too, and he is always wanting to be like his big brother, so I know he will have a cow if I get Benjamin(oldest) a bike and not him. Oh what to do!!.......
