Well, she is now in ICU as not only did she have either pneumonia or some type of bronchitis or cold but it caused her to have a Heart Attack. They believe it occurred 48-72 hours ago. She really never had any symptoms of having one and I do not know whom to blame. This may have been able to be avoided if someone notified the Home Care agency. The usual Nurse that comes here to check on things ( keep in mind she comes every 2 wks.) was out sick Mon, Tues. Wed, and Thurs. with the stomach flu. So even if they contacted her message box she wouldn't have received it until Fri. But I really think someone should be held accountable!!!! I am so upset and angry!! Before I start pointing any fingers I need to simmer down and think about what to say and how I should handle it.
