Polymer Clay

Anyone here work with polymer clay? I was working with it tonight and wondering if it were acid free. I couldn't really tell from the labels. I made some adorable things using my rubber stamps and clay. I figure a thing or 2 with buffered pages would be OK, but wanted to know how safe. If it's safe I might make a LOT of things for the scrapbook.

Kenda is the queen of polymer clay. She does awesome work with it. Hopefully she'll get back to you!

I do know that the special clay I used on my cookie recipe swap (it air dries and is very light weight was acid free. I got it at Hobby Lobby. I'd have to go downstairs to get the name of the stuff.

Heehee, I am not the queen of polymer clay!! LOL I don't know if it's acid free or not, that's why I hadn't responded. If you are unsure just be sure to buffer it from your pictures with acidfree cardstock.

Yes she is... you should see some of the beautiful things she's done including the cover of that altered book she made as part of the April challenge.

Hi Lynne, I have made "faux-wax seals" using sculpy clay. I used the "seals" in my scrapbooks but they are not near any photos. I've been using it for years for various projects. I included the URL below for sculpey clay as they have an area for scrapbooking. You may find your answer there or write them if this is the brand you are using.

I really can't answer your question Lynne, but your post sounds intriguing. Can we see the things that you made?
