Power LO's are the way to go!!!

Good for you. I keep reading about the power layouts, but I have no idea what they are. Could you enlighten me as to where to find them please? I can't imagine doing that many lo's.

Way to go Kenda! As a reward you can buy 2 new sets of alphabets and if you want, my big scanner is set up and ready to go, no stitching required. You're more than welcome to use it!

Way to go Kenda! For some reason, everyone makes this power layout stuff sound so easy but it just doesn't work for me. If I'm going to take the time to match paper, stickers, etc with the pictures....I may as well sit down and do the layouts! I think my biggest problem is that I and decision impaired....especially when it comes to which color cardstock to use. Maybe I'll try it again sometime thoiugh....... You know....if at first you don't succeed...try and try again! S

What are some good resources for learning how to do power layouts???

Anyhow POWER LAYOUTS work!! I am a firm believer in them. Since July I have done almost 200 pages using that plan. Thanks to CM for the great idea! (see, CM ain't all bad!)

Susan, I'm with you. I'm glad it works for others, but I just don't see how it would save me any time. I'm still going to have to make decisions on papers and embellishments and I'd say more often than not, I totally change what I'm doing or add stuff as I'm going.

I am with you Kenda....I went to a 12 hr crop yesterday after going to a power sort class and I finished 30 pages!!! thats more than I have done all year so far!!! I love the POWER SORT!!!! Just thought I would share my accomplishments Tracy Keehn

I have the same thoughts but I guess there are people out there who aren't as indecisive as I am and so it works for them. Maybe one day I'll try it - the power layouts and not being indecisive!

I know what you mean. I find it works good with theme albums or old pictures that you just want to get scrapped .

AR needs the instructors worse! So they have to stay here! (so there!) lol We could have a great building if we pooled all our stuff! heehee, I could almost open my own store, least it feels that way after straightening everything yesterday....

What takes me the longest is deciding on what to use. I had been trying to decide what to use and feeling like a major failure because I had not scrapped a layout for months. So, I just bit the bullet and sorted my pictures. After sorting them I started pulling out what I thought would go. I have tried this in the past and pulled out too much for each layout, but I tried to be reasonable and not obsess. It worked out great, I didn't bring home much in the way of extra, with the exception of scraps of paper. It also takes me forever (or at least it seems that way) to adhere everything.
