I am hoping someone can give me some advice on this. When you stamp an image, and want to use watercolors to add color to it, do you use a different type of ink so the water won't make the outline bleed? Or do you emboss the image and then fill it in? Any advice will be appreciated! :-)

The last time I did it, I embossed the image. It worked really well.
I use the Stazon ink.

I emboss, but I've never used the stazon ink either. I like watercolor pencils for painting in stuff.

I either use Staz-on or emboss, BUT I did watch a video with Tim Holtz using "Archival" ink. He said that is didn't bleed. I haven't tried it so use at your own risk. I use the STaz-on, partly because I have like 6 different colors.
If I'm water coloring I use Versafine Archival pads or Memories. I don't like to emboss if I'm water coloring because it doesn't give me the right effect for a watercolor card.

I use my Stazon pad when I watercolor. I don't think I've embossed the image before watercoloring, though. You'll love watercoloring, though. :-)
I don't have Stazon ink but there is a waterproof ink available that I use for the watercolors, it is a neat technique. Hilda
