We are home from the giant rat's house in central FL. Was a fun week... or 5 days... wish we'd had more money and time... don't we all LOL

Anyway... we're home, safe, maybe sound, but thankful! :) Will catch up or MAR later this weekend. :)

glad your home safe and sound... and glad it was a good trip

Welcome back, Susan. Now you need to get to Home Depot and 'spot' yourself some Mouse Ear Paint Chip Samples....

Sounds like you had fun Susan.

I took about 15 rolls of film and only used about 8 or 9. I was really surprised. I mean I tried to get good pictures and of course missed some good ones.

Hey Susan, did you know that Costco is way cheaper and faster than the exchange? Just thought you'd like to know!

Sheri,

Thanks for that info! Now I'd have to spend the money to become a member at Costco LOL and my savings out the window LOL I'm in no hurry but cheaper does interest me! :) Thanks for the heads up Sheri!

Well, if you need more justification for Costco membership, here's where they're cheaper than the commissary and exchange that I've seen:

film developing digital prints developing electronics small appliances printer paper DVDs and CDs books batteries in large quantities (necessary for Game Boys) diapers baby wipes fresh flowers lg quantities of paper plates, etc. (necessary for parties) clothes (not much selection but excellent prices) good quality towels name brand toys hot dog and hamburger buns (lg quantities are needed for bbqs) sheet cakes (delicious and very cheap) freshly baked muffins, cookies, croissants, etc. party platters some frozen items

Plus they have some things not available on base, such as rack of lamb. Just wanted you to know what I've priced so you can decide if it's worth the membership!

Thanks for the info Sheri! Will consider it :)
