Re: Dilemma

I would use a marker with a wide point (not fine tip or you might dent the photo) and just put a small mark of some sort on the back to show you scanned it.

First thing that comes to mind.... :) Or, maybe make a index sheet of all the photos so you just glance through and see if you put it in there already?

Hey, that's cool - I had no idea they made such a thing.

I've been scanning the pictures without taking them out of the albums. I don't want to remove the picture's since there are so many of them and some are over a 100 years old. I don't want a distracting mark on the front either.

I really like the idea of re-creating the events.. and totally journalling the entire "why its like this"... will make for a GREAT LO or LO's... and when they are great.. why not relive them!?!?!

Hi.... Doing it this way, I would agree to Dawn's suggestion.. use the CM marking pencil.... it will write on the sheet protector if you have one, and if you dont, you can do the corner of the photo. If you do not have a CM consultant to get one of these from, I use my white marking pencil that I use in quilting.. does the same job..( it is white and the Brand is NONCE) I bought several of these .. I think at Wall Mart. Check where the quilting supplies are.

The other suggestion, I think also from Dawn was to do an index of the photos you have already scanned. Then you can mark the index with no problem to the photos themselves. HTH. Hugs, Neets, Memere Neets, Anita Connecticut, USA
